Greater Avalon: Connecting a precinct that delivers 30,000 jobs

Project: Greater Avalon, Victoria’s global gateway

Client: MAB Funds Management Limited (MAB Funds)

Date: Ongoing

Set across 770 hectares west of Avalon Airport, the Avalon Employment Precinct is a bold step toward establishing one of Victoria’s most significant industrial and economic hubs. Driven by MAB Corporation, the vision supports up to 30,000 new jobs—15,000 on-site and many more through broader precinct integration.

At the centre of this transformation is a need for future-focused infrastructure. Connecting people, freight, and opportunity. Eukai was engaged to provide transport planning, design, and engineering expertise that would underpin a masterplan ready for growth

Future-ready strategy built on collaboration and insight.

Eukai worked alongside MAB to provide master planning advice and design input to shape a transport network aligned with long-term ambitions and immediate feasibility to balance freight movement, access, and circulation across the 778-hectare site.

Every step was guided by Eukai’s method: defining the challenge, grounding solutions in local context, and delivering pragmatic, scalable outcomes.

Laying the groundwork for a jobs-rich future.

Our planning and engineering input shaped a robust, adaptable transport framework—ready to support industrial growth and regional employment at scale. The results in a futureproofed access that integrates with proposed transit and infrastructure, while respecting natural systems and constraints.

Avalon is more than a new development. It’s an economic shift for Greater Geelong and Eukai is proud to be laying the foundations for how people and industry will move through it.
